Hey Everyone!

Hi!

My name is Reid Surrett. I'm currently 22 years old and living in an extremely small town (pop. ~800) in Alabama.

I'm starting this blog for 3 reasons:

1) Track my food and keep myself accountable for what I'm eating.
2) To get insight from people who visit my blog
3) Because I have the technology and free time to do this

You may know me, you may not. If you don't know me here are a few stats about me:

Weight: 382 lbs.
Height: 6'1"
Pant Size: 46 x 30
Shirt Size: 3XL Tall

I'm sure you're looking at this and thinking, "Wow! What a rather large person!" If you are, I don't blame you, because I am exceptionally large. I have been all my life! Hell, most of my family is rather large. But, they're not really involved in this (for the moment anyways) so, I'll leave their stats out for now.

Of course, being a morbidly obese person for most of my life,  and wanting nothing more than to lose the weight, I'm going to be making a real effort. Not just through this blog of course, but in real life. You know, that stuff behind your head and computer screen. I have been trying my hardest to lose this weight for the past year, but I haven't. I've made rationalizations and excuses until I was blue in the face. But, losing only 20 pounds in the span of 365 days has really made me realize that I was doing something wrong.

But, enough is enough, and I've got to learn from my mistakes. You may be asking yourself "what is this blog going to be all about?!" Good question, you ask good questions, congrats. What I'll be doing is posting picture of EVERY SINGLE THING I CONSUME. This is the main focus. But, I will also be posting pictures about other things I'm interested in, which include:

- Motivation
- Music
- Daily Activities
- NoFap
- Nutrition (of course)
- Current Thoughts
- Exercising
- Weigh-Ins

So, expect  daily updates, on a wide variety of things. I know that may be uninteresting and ego driven, but this blog is, after all, for me.

But seriously, here are the outcomes I am looking for by the end of this 365 days:

1) Lose 140 Pounds (down to 240 lbs.)
2) Create a new sense of self. (I'm going to have to if I lose all this weight)
3) Not accepting "good enough" anymore
4) A new life

I know this may be vague and odd to you, but you don't have to understand it. You can say whatever you want about me, about this blog, about what I'm doing, or why you hate me. I don't care. Again, this is about accountability for my own actions.

I'm looking forward to Dec. 31, 2013. I hope you will be too.

-Reid
